When I was seven, I asked my mum for a Chanel suit, I envisioned a red tweed knee length skirt with a matching jacket trimmed and decorated with black embroidery and gold buttons… an elegant suit for an elegant seven year old. Now, I understand it may have been a bit of a stretch in the family budget seeing as though our boutique of choice was Targét, however I believed it to be a worthy sacrifice the family should make in the name of fashion. As you may have guessed, she didn't buy me the suit. Instead however, she offered to make me one. So, I picked the fabric, the pattern, the buttons, and even the color of the thread. I wore my new suit to every "important event" in my life until I was eleven. And so began my love of fashion. I eat, breathe & live fashion, cliché I know but it's definitely my life. I spend most of my days searching through "style.com" or the pages of "Purple Fashion". I’m inspired by the talent of Yves Saint Laurent, mesmerized by the vision of Givenchy and love everything about Prada. My wardrobe celebrates my love of fashion. It’s fun, it’s vintage, its considered.

Ask me a model, who’s on the cover of Vogue or what’s trending the runways and I will answer all of your questions with a vague, doe eyed stare. Admittedly, I’m not the most fashion literate kid on the block. I don’t know who or what I’m wearing or whether Anna Wintour would give my threads a "fabulous daaaaarling" or one of her infamous snarls. Nevertheless I love to play dress up's. Creating ensembles gives me an indescribable thrill. My motto: accessories, accessories, accessories spice it up and own it. Life’s too short to be stuck in jeans and a tee day in and day out. Creepers one day and stilettos the next… my style is transient. I live to experiment and treat my fashion faux pas’s as " learning experiences". Notorious for hijacking my sister’s closets what they call stealing I like to call borrowing without asking, but hey! What are little sisters for? I have an unhealthy obsession for costume jewellery a self-confessed hoarder (only until recently have I been able to openly share such a revelation). I’m not one to take myself to seriously and the other 2 would probably describe me as the embarrassing one. I make a point to laugh about something each day, myself included. My obsession for tacky reality shows is spiralling out of control. French fries, ice cream and strawberries (all at once if I can) make me weak at the knees. My weekly op- shopping (yes weekly) expeditions bring me indescribable joy, happiness and excitement like nothing else (its my form of therapy). Oh I’m never on time and without fail heels are a must. I love these 2 crazy kids I share this blog with to the moon and back and I can always count on them to tell me if my get up is an epic fail. When it comes to fashion I live by the motto of "Dress to make yourself happy", I can be pretty impulsive when it comes to clothes and what I buy, but with age I'm appreciating the less is more approach.

This space below is my tiny oasis, my favourite spot in our tiny apartment. I can spend hours in here rearranging and rummaging through my little treasures, to anyone else it may all seem like “stuff”(ask mister man) but to me the wonders in here make my heart flutter. They bring me memories of first dates, cheeky nights out with the girls, and bargains I should have said “NO” to. So without further ado welcome to my closet…
