Closet Peep: Tim & Tom

 

Welcome to this week’s closet peep; our first ever-double peep… the simplistic less is more closets of Tim (Right) & Tom (Left). These two young design minds originally from Perth know how to walk the walk & talk the talk. Their closets are filled with well thought of pieces where fabric choices, on point tailoring and quality take precedent. Spending the afternoon with these boys its clear they know fashion & interior design. Its moments like this that leave us with a better knowledge of what it really means to take the time to understand how your fashion choices will merge into the rest of your closet. Hey, all you guys and gals out there should steal a page from their book: the quintessential striped tee, the classic denim shirt, throw in some Lanvin and little cashmere from Marni …WAHLAH undoubtedly a winning recipe. Plus on a side note it wasn’t just their wardrobe that left us beyond impressed, we were in awe and left inspired of their amazing apartment! These boys will school you on interior design 101…and then some. Lets hear it for the boys!

Math’s may not be our strong point, it never has been, but one thing we do know is high fashion + Laura Liu= 1 fu#@ken amazing wardrobe! In our minds it’s a very easy equation, welcome to our favourite China doll’s wardrobe. Take a seat, this is not for the faint hearted: its full of big names, all our favourite big names, and super doper impressive names. The one’s most girls would sell their boyfriends liver for, Burberry, Givenchy, Prada, vintage Celine, Marc…the list goes on! This sassy doll has a wardrobe that is beyond drool worthy, she has a corporate day job and an active nightlife, spending her free time making pottery, meditating and living the dream. We had a blast unearthing the secrets to Miss Liu’s closet; enjoy this week’s peep as we introduce to you Laura Liu.

Three words you would use to describe your wardrobe? A steady revolution
What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe? At the moment and it has have been for a long time, my Miu Miu clutch. It goes everywhere with me, supermarket, restaurant, bar, parties etc. I hope it doesn't reflect my personality too much, but I don't really have an all time favourite, maybe I just haven't come across it yet...
Your style philosophy? Always have one nice piece in the whole outfit that represents quality. For me, usually shoes or bags.
Street shopping VS Department Stores? Street shopping. Department stores are too predictable, I only go to department stores to sample skin care products.
The fashion moment you'd rather forget? My juicy couture track pants days...I was little and had no idea.

Physical Vs. Online shopping? A perfect mix of both, I can't stand the idea of missing out.

Rich biiish or bargain hunter? Honestly, I think my wardrobe has  great balance of both!

You wake up in the morning and think what would... wear? Depending on the days. Monday to Friday: I'm pretty restricted by corporate wear. But I try to wear something that has interesting details, like an asymmetrical skirt with large pockets. Weekends: A little version of Michael Chazan for the moment. I quite like his 50 shades and shapes of grey t-shirts.

Your best fashion moment? My 30^th birthday get-up

My guilty pleasure is…Too many, from over spending on shoes to watching biggest loser. Life is made up with guilty pleasures!

When I grow up I wanna... A secret service agent who has lots of killer heels.

Your current fashion obsession? I'm not usually obsessed with one or two things, I like a mix of lots of things, so I don't really have one.
